Magic Moves Electronic Wand Review

The Magic Moves Wand features 90 fun, physical commands, 26 random tunes and twinkling lights. The wand is designed to promote creative movement, gross motor skill development, direction following and listening skills.

So is it really as good as it sounds?
As soon as the Magic Moves Wand arrived Maxx wanted to open it. When we opened it he immediately started pressing the buttons to see what they did as any 4 year old would.

The Magic Moves Wand comes with batteries which means no hunting around for spare batteries! Or is that just me..? There are two buttons on the wand. One button gives commands and the other button repeats them. The repeat button is a great feature if your child has a favourite move then they can keep repeating it. There is also a volume control switch which is great when you need a bit of quiet.

The commands are really clear and the wording used is easy for a small child to understand. Maxx really surprised me with some of the commands as I didn't expect him to understand how to act out some of them (for example: swoop like an owl) but he is able to act them all out and is very comical too.

Maxx has spent hours dancing, running and hopping around the room playing with the wand and I think it will be a well loved toy for years to come.

The Magic Moves Wand is a toy that can grow with your children, young children will enjoy the tunes and lights and older children will enjoy acting out the commands. Maxx has accidentally dropped the wand a few times and it has come out unscathed thanks to the fact it is well made.

The great thing about the Wand is children can play with it on their own or in a group. It would also make a great party game!

We would highly recommend the Magic Moves Wand to everyone as a fun toy that will help keep little ones active and entertained.

You can listen to some of the Magic Moves Wand sounds on the Learning Resources Website.

You can see Maxx having fun with his Magic Moves Wand in the video above. I would advise you have your volume on medium as he screams at more than one point!
