There's No Business Like Snow Business

It's pretty pointless asking if you have had snow recently as most of the UK has had snow at some point over the last 2 weeks. Whether you love it or hate it there's no getting away from it.

Our first trip out in the freshly fallen snow was to collect Maxx from nursery and we knew he'd be really excited to see all of the snow. He was very disappointed that Santa didn't bring snow on Christmas day! We had to explain it doesn't always snow on Christmas.

We originally tried to make a snowman on the first snow day however the snow would not stick together very well it was very powdery. Luckily it snowed a day later and we managed to make this cute looking snowman with smartie buttons and of course a carrot nose. Maxx loved him and said we could put him in the freezer, hmmm I'm not sure he's thought about that idea lol. We had a bit of an incident with the poor snowman I had built his boy and head the phone rang so I went inside to answer it and when I came outside Maxx told me the snowman's head fell off all by itself, I couldn't help but laugh and then Maxx said he was just giving it a cuddle and it fell off.

The cat wasn't so sure of the snow to begin with he would run outside then run straight back inside again. After a couple of days he seemed to enjoy being out and about in the snow if only for short periods of time. I had to laugh when he tried to climbed the back gate and a pile of snow that had gathered on top fell on him he was not impressed!



We did all of the usual fun stuff in the snow. Snowmen, snow angels, snowball fights and I also buried Maxx in the snow which he thought was hilarious as you can see in the last photo. As a family we all love the snow and I'm always sad when it goes. I'm just hoping we get a good amount again next year. If you do still have snow have fun and take care!
