I recently came across the company Pink Monkey which specialises in Woman's Running clothes and Sportswear. When I was given the chance to review an item of clothing from their range I couldn't wait to be involved.
I have been making a big effort to get healthy and lose weight over the last 9 months and have managed to lose a total of 35lbs which I am very happy with. I would like to lose another 15lbs to reach my target which I am hoping to do in the next 6 months. I have lost the weight by eating healthily and exercising more.
I used to hate exercising, I found the gym boring and would dread going. Thankfully I found an exercise DVD that I love: The 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michael. It is a fun, fast paced exercise DVD which uses the 3-2-1 Interval training method. I think the best thing you can do when you want to exercise is to find something fun that you enjoy and you will be more likely to stick to it.
When I first started exercising I bought some plain clothes to use. After a few weeks wearing the clothes I found they just weren't up to the job. The t-shirt had become really baggy in the wash and the trousers were a tad too long so I kept standing on them. This is when I learnt the importance of having the correct clothes for exercising.
The hoodie keeps me warm when I am outside exercising but is also lightweight for the warmer days.
The hoodie is not only great for exercising, it's so nice I wear it out and about too. It has two zip up pockets and my favourite feature is the thumb holes. Not only very cool but practical too for ensuring sleeves don't rise up and for keeping hands and arms warm.
The Black zip up hoodie is priced at £40 and is available in sizes 8-26. I am really impressed with Pink Monkey and the Black zip up hoodie.

The clothing is available from size 8-26.
Pink Monkey donates 50% of the profits made to a charity they are partnered with which I think is amazing.

ReplyDeleteI need to lose weight. In my early twenties I went from 12 stone to 7 and a half then steadied out at about 9 stone but since having my 2nd and 3rd children I haven't been able to shift it and probably 11 stone again. I have got older but I have also got a lot happier and I don't think about it too much. I have an active holiday coming up later this year so would like to get in shape.
