Warburtons recently introduced a new product into their great bakery range. The new Half & Half Square(ish) Wraps.
The Half & Half Wraps are the perfect size for lunch boxes which makes them great for school lunches and picnics.
The wraps are made from 50% white and 50% wholemeal flour, they provide a source of fibre and can be eaten as part of a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle.
They come in a handy re-sealable bag which is great for keeping them fresher for longer. I hate buying products then finding you can't seal the packet, it's a little touch that makes a big difference.
When we received the Half & Half Wraps to try we decided to put them to the test by making a few different snacks.
When I first got the wraps out to use I was worried they would tear and break when I folded them over as they are thicker than I expected. Thankfully this wasn't the case and I managed to roll them and fold them over without them breaking.
With our wraps we made mini cheese and ham sandwiches, cheese and salad wraps, dipping strips and our favourite, mini pizza squares.
Maxx is a big fan of our home-made puff pastry pizza so we thought the mini pizza squares would be a hit, which they were. We didn't get a look in with them as Maxx scoffed the lot!
We all loved the taste of the wraps and the fun foods you can make with them. They are sure to be popular with young and old, they are in our house.
Each snack we made took between 5-10 minutes from preparation to the finished product. This is great as it's perfect for a quick snack or a fun 5 minute lunch.
You don't need to worry about the wraps expiring before you can eat them either. They can be frozen and you can use them when required so there will be no wastage (I hate wasting food). They are also suitable for vegetarians.
The new Half & Half Square(ish) Wraps are available now priced around £1.20 for a packet of 6.
P.S If you come up with other fun, tasty or creative uses for the wraps do let us know. We would love to try out other ideas with them too.
*We received a packet of Warburtons Half & Half Square(ish) Wraps to try. I always give an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
