Keep it Clean, Keep it Green with Method Cleaning Products - Review

Keeping a clean home is important but so is our health.  Have you ever used a cleaning products that has caught the back of your throat, made you cough or given you a headache? I have and it was horrible, what's worse is it lasted for a few hours. It really put me off using the product again and made me think about what chemicals are in the products we use every day.

I was recently lucky enough to get the opportunity to try some Method cleaning products which are family friendly, non-toxic cleaning products that are great at cleaning too.

The Method cleaning range comprises of hand washes, surface cleaners, bathroom cleaner, washing liquid, laundry liquid and floor cleaner. The entire range is people and pet friendly! I was sent four items from the range to try out, you can read my thoughts on the items and the range below.

I was sent two products from the gel hand wash range, I received the Pink Grapefruit and Sweet Water scented hand wash. The first thing I noticed was the bottles, they look really elegant and I am more than happy to have them on show in my bathroom and kitchen.

The scents are lovely, the grapefruit smells like grapefruit and the sweet water smells light and clean. The hand wash froths up and leaves hands clean and smelling fresh. The pump is easy to operate and not stiff which means Maxx can use it on his own too. A little goes a long way which is good for the pocket too.

The gel hand washes are extra moisturising and contain vitamin E & aloe keeping those chapped winter hands a thing of the past.

Method gel hand washes are available in four fragrances: Waterfall, Pink Grapefruit, Sweet Water and French Lavender.

Method gel hand wash is priced at a reasonable £2.49 per bottle.

I was also sent two surface cleaners, which is something everyone needs in their home. I was sent the Multi -Surface Lavender and the Daily Kitchen cleaner with a Clementine scent.

The Daily Kitchen cleaner gets rid of grease and food spills without leaving behind a chemical residue. The cleaner is non-toxic and because it is plant based it is safe for people, children and pets.

I used the Daily Kitchen cleaner on the work surfaces, cooker and cupboards and was surprised at how effective it was on dirt and grease. I love the fresh Clementine smell, it stays around even after you have finished cleaning.

The Multi-Surface cleaner tackles grease and grime using the non-toxic Powergreen technology. The surface cleaner contains naturally derived, biodegradable, ingredients made from corn and coconut which break down dirt leaving a clean surface.

The range of surface cleaners use a powerful formula that is non-toxic and uses biodegradable ingredients. Powergreen technology is a cutting edge green chemistry that harnesses the strength of natural derived non-toxic ingredients to give you a mighty clean.

I had my reservations as in the past I have found some greener products to be less effective but I can safely say that the both surface cleaners worked a treat and left the rooms smelling lovely too.

The surface cleaners have an RRP of £3 for a 828ml bottle which is great value for money.

If you are conscious of the products you use in your home and are looking for a friendlier solution I would highly recommend taking a look at the products on the Method website.

Method products are available to buy from Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Ocado, John Lewis, Homebase, B&Q, Co-p, Boots, Superdrug, Amazon and independent stores.

*I was sent 4 items from the Method range for the purpose of this review.  I always give an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
