Maxx has spent the last couple of weeks playing with a new toy, a Ben 10 Shocksquatch Mechanised Alien from Bandai.
When Shocksquatch arrived Maxx was so keen to open it and start playing that I didn't get a chance to take any photos of it in it's packaging.
Shocksquatch features in the Ben 10 Omniverse TV series which I'm sure a lot of you will have seen or be aware of. Shocksquatch has a wind up mechanism located on his back which makes his arms move in a punching motion.
At first Maxx struggled with turning the wind up mechanism on the back and got frustrated. However I showed him an easier way to turn it and after practising for a little while he was able to wind it up himself.
Maxx has really enjoyed playing with Shocksquatch and has had him out on numerous occasions, most recently he was used as a target when Maxx was in his paddling pool with his water gun.
He had a lot of fun and thankfully even after being blasted off a table, covered in water and accidentally stood on (OOPS!) he came out the other end good as new. That's what we like, a sturdy long lasting toy which Maxx is sure to play with time and time again.
There are other mechanised Ben 10 characters available on the Bandai wesbite.
Shocksquatch is priced at £9 and is suitable for children aged 4+
If you would like more information about Shocksquatch take a look at the Bandai website you can also follow Bandai on Facebook where you can keep up to date with the latest toy news.
